Israel, USA Designed Stuxnet Attack, Alleges IranIran alleges that Siemens a well-known engineering company in Germany assisted USA and Israel in unleashing a PC-virus created for damaging its nuclear plants. Guardian.co.uk published this on April 17, 2011. Stated an experienced military commander in Iran, the company aided in launching cyber-attacks on Iran with the Stuxnet after giving details of SCADA, the control system Siemens designed for Iran's nuclear facilities, to Jerusalem and Washington. Indeed, it was during June 2010, that the acknowledgement of Stuxnet was first done after it reportedly interrupted the working of the nuclear power facility at Bushehr. Now, Iranian officials are considering filing a suit against Siemens for giving away the secrets, which had led to the disruption of several sophisticated computer equipments in the country. Said civil defense chief, Gholamreza Jalali of Iran, the executive authorities of the country required pursuing the SCADA software issue legally that had been responsible for giving base to the Stuxnet virus. Jalali added that Siemens must explain the reason and the way it revealed the details of SCADA software's codes to the enemies while creating the opportunity for the online assault against Iran. Digital Journal published this on April 18, 2011. Jalali stated that anytime the virus inflicted a computer network, a process of data-collection started from the contaminated PCs following which it dispatched the stolen information onto previously-decided Internet addresses. Moreover, Reuters quoted Jalali on April 17, 2011 as saying that as per investigations, it was evident that the Stuxnet's source-of-origin was USA as well as the Zionist regime. Siemens dismissed making comments on that. Previously, during September 2010, according to the Islamic Republic, Stuxnet contaminated 30,000 Iranian IP addresses; however, the Foreign Ministry of Iran refuted allegations that the nuclear power facility in the country was sabotaged with a PC-virus. Stated Jalali that the information revelations of SCADA demonstrated an antagonistic act against Iran, which if wasn't tackled promptly, could have caused far-reaching material and human destructions. Global Times published this on April 18, 2011. Significantly, both Israel and USA haven't refuted charges by PC specialists that the Stuxnet virus' development was their doing.
