LendingTree Clients Warned of Data TheftFlorida's State Attorney General is advising clients of LendingTree, an Internet-based company that facilitates mortgage loans, to check their credit accounts and reports, as their personal data might have been exposed to lenders. According to reports, Bill McCollum, Attorney General of Florida, on April 23, 2008, issued another warning about a different security breach. This second incident originally became public from the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, as reported by Sun-Sentinel on April 26, 2008.
