Hazards Facing UK Broadband Customers as ISP InterferesWikileaks, which published its "January 2007 report" on June 5, 2008, demonstrated the problems broadband users encounter when an Internet Service Provider (ISP) interfere with crude Internet traffic to reap profit for its own. The report disclosed that this act crashed the browsers of some unsuspecting surfers, while a tiny proportion of the 18,000 broadband clients under surveillance felt they had been hit with adware.
