In 2007 - 90% of Security Incidents Went UnreportedAs per the latest released survey of RSA Conference attendees, only 11% of security incidents were reported by infected companies in 2007. Further, the Storm botnet had a little role in the total incidents, attacking just 14% of respondent's companies. As explained by the study, security incidents show an unusual activity that causes sudden risk to the company and take one or more security personnel to address. The survey also disclosed that almost 54% of respondents reported that they had witnessed a security incident in their companies during 2007, but 89% did not admit of these attacks publicly.
