Attacker Hacked Carleton University Students’ AccountsA computer hacker has attacked accounts of 32 students of Carleton University, gaining access to the Campus cards and mail passwords that the students used as the ID cards and as debit cards to make purchases at almost 500 venues across the campus. Christopher Walters, Carleton Spokesman, said that in the first week of September 2008, the attacker had mailed a report to the university officials as well as to the students he had hacked, carrying a list of the 32 accounts hacked by him and the password details of each of the account.
