Malware Writers Exploiting Volatile Threat Landscape, Says McAfeeWith malware writers making huge money from their malicious services, the malware attacks are growing at a phenomenal pace, said McAfee Avert Labs, an online security firm. Data released by McAfee indicates that the number of malware developed during 2006-2007 was expected to see a growth of 245%, and a further hike of 300% forecasted for 2007-2008. McAfee further stated that the total volume of malware generated between January and November 2008 had surpassed the combined total of 2006 and 2007.
