Spammers All Set to Spoil the Christmas MoodIT security firm "Websense" has revealed that cyber crooks are looking forward to capitalize on the Christmas season by increasing their malicious activities. Researchers stated that the scammers are sending e-mails in the form of e-greetings, leading apparently to animated postcards, to users. However, instead of leading to a Christmas greeting card, the e-mail directs the users to click a URL link to download the animated Christmas greeting cards. This link stealthily forwards them to a Trojan that has contributed in several malicious drives in past also.
