US Topped in Hosting Malware and Relaying Spam in 2008According to a new report, "Security Threat Report for 2009", from security firm Sophos, a vast majority of spam and malware emerges from the US. The report has analyzed the threat landscape from end of 2007 to the end of the current year and predicts the cyber crime trends that are likely to emerge in 2009. The report disclosed that the US represented the biggest source of malware with 37% of the global malware in 2008, followed by China with 27.7%.
