Google Says Gmail Now Blocks 99.9% of Phishing and Spam Emails
Google just has pushed a key security update to Google Mail, i.e. believed to block the phishing, one of most common methods to collect sensitive data like credit card details, usernames and passwords.
The latest security update comprises timely phishing detection with the help of machine learning, unintentional external reply warnings, along with click-time cautioning for the malicious links. Google says that Gmail can obstruct spam and phishing messages with an accurateness of more than 99.9% because of the integration of the machine learning which is quite remarkable.
Google says that detection of early phishing holds few messages from delivery for a short period - fewer than 0.05% - for performing deeper analysis. These messages are checked by the service against other comparable suspicious examples for creating a more perfect model, which strengthens detection abilities of Gmail. Google is adding another new feature to Gmail, which will help the businesses to protect its data.
