Two French Teens Arrested Following Accusation of Youtube Hack
Two teenagers from France, aged 18, are inside jail in Paris following charges against them and thereafter their arrest for being part of several hacks in connection with Vevo's YouTube A/Cs in April 2018.
The Prosecutor's Office in Paris said that Gabriel K.A.B., and Nassim B. the suspects more familiar with the handles "Kuroi'ish" and "Prosox" on the Internet carried out hacks which littered Palestine favored messages along with more silly jokes through videos on YouTube. The videos contained "Despacito" of Luis Fonsi and "God Plan" of Drake along with several other movie clips of artists namely Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Chris Brown and Shakira. With online monikers Kuroi'ish and Prosox, Gabriel K.A.B and Nassim B. executed their hacks during when they posted some videos carrying their names. Besides targeting the most popular film clip of YouTube, the teenagers as well defaced videos of DJ Snake, Chris Brown, Adele, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Drake, Taylor Swift and Shakira.
Except for altering the musical videos' titles for pro-Palestine missives, there wasn't truly much damage from the attackers. Within some instances, they altered a video's thumbnail for depicting a still picture from 'Money Heist' a TV series. For a short while, YouTube was cleared of the videos for restoration of the pictures and titles.

The video of Despacito which Vevo cleared off attracted over 5bn viewings. Vevo also stopped access for the hackers as well as rectified the defacements.
